Dhaka University History Location and All Details

Dhaka University is most and top public university in Bangladesh. This university is the leading university in this country. Also, it is the oldest university in Modern Bangladesh. The nickname Dhaka University is DU. It was established when the British Empire rules this country. This university can be located at the heart of Ramna, 1000-Dhaka, Bangladesh. Now, do you know how many students study here? No!  The number of total students is 30,015 among them 20,559 are male and 9,045 students are female.
Now, the number of undergraduate students is 23,620 and postgraduates students are 5,362 and 764 students are doing Doctorate here. The number of academic staff is 2,156 and administrative staff is 3,887. In the Dhaka University, total 1,691 teachers provide education. The campus is too large of DU approximately 600 acres. And, Du has the best hostel facility for the students. It has 11,228 male hostel seats and 6,321 female hostel seats. Admission Requirements of Dhaka University
Now, if you want to admit in the Dhaka University, you must apply first. But, you need to have some requirements for applying there. For example, you must have the GPA of SSC and HSC that DU want to their students. And, if your GPA matches with their requirements, then you can apply there for the admission test. The DU has 5 units for admission test KA unit, KHA unit, GA unit, GHA unit, and CHA unit. The GPA (SSC+HSC) requirements for all units in DU are.
For KA Unit: GPA 8:00.
For KHA Unit: GPA 7:00.
For GA Unit: GPA 7:50.
For GHA Unit: GPA 7:00.
For CHA Unit: GPA 6:50.
Facilities of the Dhaka University
